Duke Institute for Health Innovation (DIHI), along with other sponsors from Duke University Main Campus, Duke Health, and PDC, is organizing the fourth Innovation Jam! This will be a shark tank-style event on October 4, 2018 from 11 am to 1 pm in the Great Hall at Trent Semans, where Duke innovators, inventors and entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to pitch their ideas to a team of Duke “investors.” All faculty, staff, trainees and students are encouraged to apply.

Applications are due August 24, 5:00 p.m.

DIHI is soliciting ideas that are closer to translation into market and/or commercialization.

Suggested themes for idea submissions include, but are not limited to:

  • Innovative devices
  • Novel use of analytics
  • Digital health/mHealth

We anticipate selecting up to six finalists from our total pool of applicants to present their health innovations. Each innovator will have 5 minutes to pitch their idea to a panel of investors and evaluators, followed by a brief question and answer period.

More details, including link to the application, can be found on the DIHI DIHI website. For more information, please contact Krista Whalen: krista.whalen@duke.edu
