Mobile App Gateway offers hands-on workshops for Medable app creation tool

August 28, 2017

Duke is proud to offer a new tool to create Apple ResearchKit or Android ResearchStack apps through the new CTSI Mobile App Gateway. Duke has contracted with Medable for researchers to create their own research apps utilizing these frameworks via the Medable platform.

Medable staff will offer workshops September 18 & 19 at the Trent Semans Center.

Medable 101 Sessions

These sessions provide an introduction to the platform. Participants will create a test app on Medable’s Axon Platform.

AM Session: 9am- 12pm

PM Session: 1pm- 4pm

Create my Medable Research App Session

Have you already started planning for a study that uses a Research Kit app? Do you have a survey based study that you think could benefit from this tool? This is the session for you.

AM Session: 9am- 12pm

Attendees should bring a laptop to the training sessions.

Due to the interactive nature of these workshops, each session is capped at 20 attendees. To ensure that a variety of researchers have the opportunity to play with the tool, please send a max of two people from your research team to the workshops. The workshops will be repeated again in the winter.
