TaNeDS Global 2018 Grant Program

Funding available from $75-150,000

  • The TaNeDS (Take a New Challenge for Drug diScovery) program provides a close partnership between you and scientists in Daiichi Sankyo to tackle unmet medical needs.
  • The program is open to principal investigators affiliated with research institutions in academia and small biotech located in Europe and the east coast of the United States.
  • Daiichi Sankyo's research interests include oncology, pain/sensory neruonal systems, cardiovascular adn renal diseases, rare diseases, gut microbiome-related diseases, stroke and anemia, and cell therapy.

The deadline for submission is February 19, 2018.

The Diabetes Innovation Challenge

The 2018 challenge is seeking innovations in:

  • Automated Insulin Devices and related components including glucose sensing, insulin delivery systems, and cellular therapy delivery technologies
  • Diagnostics such as tests for research and screening; early diagnosis and prevention; autoantibodies, C- peptide, or other markers such as beta cell death and risk of diabetic complications 
  • Therapeutics like smart insulins, glucagons, immune-modulating therapies, beta cell regeneration, and treatments for diabetic complications
  • Technology Design/Disease Management. For example, new approaches to using information and communication technologies to support diabetes management

The deadline for applications is January 31, 2018.
