Angela Cotton joined as HR Manager of the CTSI in 2022 after serving in the Duke Department of Radiology. She began her career at Duke in 2010 working as an Administrative Assistant with the Private Diagnostic Clinic (PDC) Accreditation & Patient Safety Office and later as an HR Generalist, with a focus on Physician Integration. In 2014, she transitioned to Pediatrics HR, managing Faculty Affairs, including Appointments, Promotions, and Tenure; credentialing; and clinical privileges. She also served in the Medical Education office within the Department of Surgery. Prior to joining Duke, Angela worked for 13 years in project management and project support at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications. She received her BA in Sociology from UNC-Chapel Hill.
