Rafaela Belloni

Rafaela Belloni is a Research Technician with the Preclinical Translational Research Unit (PTRU). Rafaela's major duties include mouse procedures, including surgeries, imaging, necropsy and data collection, under the supervision or Dr. Greg Palmer and Dr Gabi Hanna. She graduated from the Extension School at Harvard University. Rafaela worked at Duke from 2007-2012 at the Kirsch lab in Radiation Oncology under the supervision of Dr David Kirsch. While there, she performed mouse surgery, irradiation, and colony maintenance. She also worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA, as a Veterinary Technician for several species of laboratory animals.
