Tamara Burton joined CTSI in September 2019 via the Duke Health System, Gastroenterology Division. In her current role, she offers support administratively to multiple teams across CTSI at large.
Before joining CTSI, Tamara worked as an Access Specialist for the Gastroenterology division for the Duke Health System. She played an essential role in managing calendars and supporting providers, as well as preparing patients for procedures and consultative visits in the clinic.
Tamara completed her Associate’s Degree in General Studies at Piedmont Community College in 2010, and is currently looking to pursue a Bachelors Degree, and certificate to teach English as a foreign language.
